This is a reminder that our METV Network IRD’s will be undergoing maintenance updates today at 3PM EST (Rescheduled for Today), via remote session by METV affiliate engineering. The following will occur.
- Firmware Updates
- License Key Installs
- Directing the In-Band control to the proper Parameters.
This will only affect METV network reception for Channels EICU (Erie PA) and WZMQ (Marquette Michigan). Local programming will not be affected.
Master Control Operators: Please note that at some point during the updates, the IRD’s will need to be rebooted. This may cause miscellaneous pulses on these channels (EICU/WZMQ METV) to the automation during the reboot. Engineering will coordinate with operators before this is done. Please ensure there is a double element on the Log for 3PM on EICU and WZMQ (METV) to prevent GPI triggers from affecting the playlists. Thank you.
